Things I Realized after I Stopped Needing Everyone to Like Me

I think one of the most expensive habits a woman can have is needing everyone to approve of her.

Not financially expensive.

But Life energy expensive.

Because the more energy you spend managing other people's perception of you, the less energy you have left to actually live your life.

I found through my own journey that the older I get, the more I realize freedom and being universally liked almost never coexist.

At some point, if you're building a life that genuinely makes you happy, someone is going to misunderstand you, disagree with you, or be disappointed by your choices.
